COBDEN, Ill. -- Florence Esther Casper, 77, of Cobden died Saturday, April 3, 1999, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born Jan. 31, 1922, in Cobden, daughter of Francis Ray and Edith Mae Garner Kelley. She married Adolphus Lewis "Jimmy" Casper Dec. 21, 1940. He died Aug. 8, 1970.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Cobden and the Golden Circle Class of the church.

Survivors include three sons, Gerald Ray Casper, Edward Lee Casper and Robert Eugene Casper, all of Cobden; three daughters, Barbara Ann Casper, Sharon Kaye Casper and Helen Marie Boyd, all of Cobden; a sister, Lois Rowley of Henderson, Nev.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Lutz Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Clifford Heil officiating.

Burial will be in Cobden Cemetery.
