EAST PRAIRIE -- Michael Ryan Nichols, 25, of Lakeland, Fla., died Saturday, April 3, 1999, in McAllen, Texas.

He was born Nov. 4, 1973, in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of Forest J. and Susan G. Nichols.

Nichols was a produce buyer for Edwards Transportation in East Prairie.

Survivors include his father of Lakeland; his mother, Susan Hallem of Tampa, Fla.; a sister, Kristin Kelleher of Lakeland; and paternal grandparents, Forrest and Loretta Nichols of Lakeland and formerly of East Prairie.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Heath Funeral Chapel in Lakeland.
