KARNAK, Ill. -- Doris Weaver, 77, of Karnak died Wednesday, April 7, 1999, at her home.

She was born Jan. 5, 1922, in the Hillerman community in Massac County, the daughter of Dewight and Elsie Gray Barnett. She married Jasper Weaver, who preceded her in death. She was a Baptist.

She is survived by a son, Larry Weaver of Metropolis; a sister, Frances Bunker of Hillerman; and two grandsons, Andy Weaver of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and Cody Weaver of Metropolis.

She also was preceded in death by a sister.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Lower Salem Cemetery in Massac County.
