Funeral for Sandra Maire Humes of St. Charles was held Tuesday at Kutis South County Chapel in St. Louis. Burial was in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

Humes, 55, died Thursday, April 1, 1999, at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis County.

She was born July 17, 1943, daughter of Ivan and Olympia Headricks of Cape Girardeau. She married Ralph E. Humes, who died Oct. 13, 1988.

Humes was a packer at a seed company.

Survivors include two sons, Terry and Michael Humes of St. Louis; a daughter, Scherry Humes of St. Louis; a brother, John Headricks of Jackson; two sisters, Patty Schwab and Carol Hadley of Jackson; and four grandchildren.
