TAMMS, Ill. -- Denise S. McRaven, 46, of Joliet died Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at her home. She was born in Joliet, daughter of William and Sylvia Surges. She married Michael McRaven. McRaven was a beautician. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Debra McRaven of Joliet; a son, Kevin McRaven of Joliet; her mother of Wilmington; four sisters, Donna Walsh, Kathleen Pagonis, Linda Orasco, Sharon Alexander; and a brother, Dennis Surges...

TAMMS, Ill. -- Denise S. McRaven, 46, of Joliet died Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at her home.

She was born in Joliet, daughter of William and Sylvia Surges. She married Michael McRaven.

McRaven was a beautician.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Debra McRaven of Joliet; a son, Kevin McRaven of Joliet; her mother of Wilmington; four sisters, Donna Walsh, Kathleen Pagonis, Linda Orasco, Sharon Alexander; and a brother, Dennis Surges.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms. The Rev. Ernest Brown will officiate. Burial will be in McCrite Cemetery near Tamms.

Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time.
