GIPSY -- Bessie Jackson, 96, of Pittsburg, Ill., died Sunday, April 18, 1999, at Fountain Nursing Home in Marion, Ill.

She was born Dec. 11, 1902, at Gipsy, daughter of Nathan and Celia Vaughn Corzine. She married Louis Jackson, who died Aug. 9, 1989.

Survivors include two sons, Doyle and Ralph Jackson of Gipsy; two daughters, Evie Hood of Gipsy, Pauline Hodson of Pittsburg; 25 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Danny Norman officiating. Burial will be in Berrong Cemetery.
