ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral for Donald Wayne Hill of Anna will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna. The Rev. Clifford Heil will officiate. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery, with graveside rites by Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455.
Hill, 73, died Tuesday, April 20, 1999, at his home.
He was born June 12, 1925, at New Saratoga, son of Everett and Media Caraker Hill. He and Katherine F. Rushing were married March 4, 1950, in Piggott, Ark.
Hill was a member of First Baptist Church and VFW Post 3455 in Anna, and Ironworkers Local 782 in Paducah, Ky. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Donna Morgan; two sisters, Ada Casper and Imogene Schuster; a brother, Rollie Hill, all of Anna; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
