SIKESTON -- Funeral for William Randall "Randy" Riley of Sikeston will be held at 10 a.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home. Ed Pangburn will officiate. Burial will be in Sikeston Memorial Park Cemetery.

Riley, 36, died in a construction accident Tuesday, April 20, 1999, in Cape Girardeau.

He was born April 29, 1962, in San Antonio, Texas, son of Ernest Roy and Evelyn Jeannine Cole Riley. He and Robbyn Schmidt were married Nov. 20, 1981.

Riley was employed by Horizon Enterprises in Cape Girardeau. A member of Miner Baptist Church, he attended First Christian Church in Sikeston. He also coached Little League Baseball.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, William II, Avery and Ethan Riley, all of the home; his father of Greenville, Ala.; five brothers, Ernest "Sonny", David "Drew", and Jerry Riley, all of Sikeston, Tim Riley of Montgomery, Ala., and Tommy Riley of Columbia.

He was preceded in death by his mother.
