McCLURE, Ill. -- Edna Irene Franklin, 82, of Marion died Monday, April 26, 1999, at Calhoun Care Center in Hardin.

She was born May 16, 1916, in McClure, daughter of Everette E. and Julia Mary Riehl Eudy. She and George H. Franklin were married in 1936 at Reynoldsville. He died March 17, 1998.

Survivors include two brothers, William Eudy of Fairborn, Ohio, Donald Eudy of Greenville, Ohio; three sisters, Daisy Horman of Hardin, Evolyn Decker of Maryville, and Mary Jackson of Rancho Mirage, Calif.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hanks-Gubser Funeral Home in Hardin. The Rev. Sylvano Pera will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Hill Cemetery at Wood River.

Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 10 a.m. until service time.
