HELEN TAYLOR

PERRYVILLE -- Helen M. Taylor, 77, of Perryville died Tuesday, April 27, 1999, at her home.

She was born April 16, 1921, in Perry County, daughter of John and Margaret A. Mabuce Christisen. She and Hubert Taylor were married Sept. 24, 1940, at Sereno.

Taylor had worked at International Shoe Co.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Wayne Taylor of Perryville; six daughters, Mary Brotherton of Marquand, Joan Gebhardt of Perryville, Nancy Wilfong of Cedar Hill, Diana Yamnitz of Patton, Janice Schnurbusch of O'Fallon, Sharon Shamin of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Hilda Foerstel of St. Louis; 26 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30-9:50 a.m. The parish wake will be at 7 tonight. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Friday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Kevin P. Fausz will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
