DEXTER -- Funeral for Leonard Sagert of Dexter will be held at 11 a.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Kenneth Biggs will officiate. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m.

Sagert, 83, died Wednesday, April 28, 1999, at Vintage Villa Nursing Center in Dexter.

He was born Sept. 6, 1915, in Chicago, son of Fred and Mable Olsen Sagert. He and Alma Marie Perkins Morlan were married in 1970. She died Oct. 14, 1992.

Sagert lived at Bernie several years, moving to Dexter 18 months ago.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.
