Athel Null SCOTT CITY -- Athel Mildred Null, 86, of Scott City died Monday, Aug. 9, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born Dec. 31, 1912, at Illmo, daughter of Milas Jackson and Aurora Belle Hale Smith. She and Emory Edison Null were married Feb. 14, 1942, at Benton. He died Aug. 8, 1997...

SCOTT CITY -- Athel Mildred Null, 86, of Scott City died Monday, Aug. 9, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 31, 1912, at Illmo, daughter of Milas Jackson and Aurora Belle Hale Smith. She and Emory Edison Null were married Feb. 14, 1942, at Benton. He died Aug. 8, 1997.

Null was a lifelong resident of the Scott City area.

Survivors include four nieces and a nephew.

He was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. William Dickey officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.
