ROBERT GUEMMER

Robert M. Guemmer, 71, of Perryville died Saturday, Aug. 14, 1999, in Perryville.

Guemmer was born Feb. 29, 1928, to Theodore and Rose Guemmer in Friedenburg. He was married to Viola Koenig Dec. 18, 1948.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.

He is survived by his wife; three sons, Gerald and Timothy Guemmer, both of Perryville, and Donald Guemmer of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Debra Masiel of Perryville and Connie Lauson of Galveston, Texas; a sister, Lillian Royer of St. Louis; four grandchildren; and a stepgrandchild.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters and a foster brother.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Craig Otto officiating. The burial will follow at the church cemetery.
