PEARL HILL

Pearl Irene Hill, 94, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Aug. 14, 1999, at Beverly Health Care.

She was born June 27, 1905, to Charles and Nellie Gearing Wilson in Delta, Ill. She was married to Lawrence Hill Aug. 4, 1923, in Jonesboro, Ill.

Hill was a member of the First Baptist Church of Thebes, Ill.

She is survived by two sons, Earl Hill of Thebes and Merle Hill of Dateland, Ariz.; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, daughter, two brothers, sister and a grandchild.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Carl Fisher officiating. The burial will be at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Thebes.
