MARVIN BRUECKNER

PERRYVILLE -- Funeral for Marvin H. Brueckner of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. today at Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown. The Rev. Robert Schneider will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 6:30-8 a.m. today.

Brueckner, 88, died Sunday, Aug. 15, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Oct. 20, 1910, in Perry County, son of Dietrich and Emma Lohman Brueckner. He and Meta Muench were married April 25, 1937.

Brueckner was a farmer. He was a member of Zion Church.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Homer Brueckner of Dallas, Texas, Raymond Brueckner of St. Charles; a daughter, Doris Brueckner of Sikeston; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
