CAIRO, Ill. -- Pearl May Lang, 74, of Urbandale, died Monday, Aug. 16, 1999 at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Oct. 4, 1924 in Smithland Ky., the daughter of Elmer and Ethel Clark Gill.

She attended the Community Chapel Church in Urbandale.

She and Henry Lang were married. He died in 1987.

Survivors include her daughter, Adena Pettit, of Urbandale; three sons, Charles Lang of Urbandale, Paul Lange of Bourbannis, Ill. and James Lang, of Ullin; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and her parents.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Della Russell officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Heights Cemetery in Mounds.
