CHARLESTON -- Ruth Ann Forbey, 44, of Charleston died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, at her home. She was born Aug. 31, 1954, in Oakland, Calif., daughter of Albert Z. and Jeanette Scott Holt. She and Richard A. Forbey were married June 21, 1975. Forbey lived in Mississippi County most of her life. She had been a secretary in the New York Life Insurance Office in Charleston, and was a member of First Christian Church...

CHARLESTON -- Ruth Ann Forbey, 44, of Charleston died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, at her home.

She was born Aug. 31, 1954, in Oakland, Calif., daughter of Albert Z. and Jeanette Scott Holt. She and Richard A. Forbey were married June 21, 1975.

Forbey lived in Mississippi County most of her life. She had been a secretary in the New York Life Insurance Office in Charleston, and was a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Richard Forbey Jr. and Ross Forbey, both of the home; and a brother, Larry Holt of San Ramon, Calif.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Bert Ott will officiate. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
