PUXICO -- Funeral for Pauline Hendrix of Puxico will be held at 10 a.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico. The Rev. Ray Placher will officiate. Burial will be in Duck Creek Cemetery.

Hendrix, 87, died Tuesday, June 29, 1999, at Doctors Regional Hospital in Poplar Bluff.

She was born April 4, 1912, in Puxico, daughter of Richard and Della Wilson Hancock. She and Wilburn Hendrix were married Nov. 5, 1933. He died Aug. 14, 1969.

Hendrix was a 1931 graduate of Puxico High School. She was a member of Duck Creek Baptist Church and the quilting club.

Survivors include five sons, Neal, Charles and Richard Hendrix, all of Puxico, Allen Hendrix of Forrest City, Ark., Donald Hendrix of Homewood, Ill.; a daughter, June Waggoner of Alton, Ill.; a brother, Ellsworth Hancock of Puxico; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son.
