SIKESTON -- Dorothy Elizabeth Goza, 67, of Sikeston died Sunday, July 11, 1999, at Miner Nursing Center.

She was born Jan. 6, 1932, in Eddyville, Ky., daughter of Edgar and Anna E. Butrum Hammond.

Goza was a cook at Lambert's Cafe several years, and had also been a private caretaker. She attended New Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Terry Bryant and Wayne Turpin of Sikeston, Allen Turpin of Pacific; two daughters, Linda Newton and Diane Bell of Sikeston; two brothers, Joe Hammond and Raymond West of Lancaster, Calif.; two sisters, Lois Matthews of Sikeston, Vivian McMurtry of Lancaster; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister, and a granddaughter.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel after 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. The Revs. Marvin Butrum and Matthew Butrum will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
