Marie Hartman, age 86, of Jackson, died Tuesday, July 20, 1999, at the Jackson Manor. She was born November 2, 1912, daughter to Monroe & Anna Reeker Gartung. She and Hadley Hartman were married January 2, 1982 in Gordonville, Mo. He survives. Hartman was a life long member of Zion United Methodist Church west of Gordonville and was a member of United Methodist Women. She was formerly employed at Lowenbaum Dress Factory in Cape Girardeau as a seamstress for over 30 years...

Hartman was a life long member of Zion United Methodist Church west of Gordonville and was a member of United Methodist Women. She was formerly employed at Lowenbaum Dress Factory in Cape Girardeau as a seamstress for over 30 years.

Survivors include her husband, Hadley Hartman of Jackson; brother, Clem Gartung of Gordonville; a sister, Verna Lee Nitsch of Jackson; step-daughter, Judy McClanahan of Jackson; three nieces, Cindy Raganyi of Jackson; Lynette Moore of Jackson; Rhonda Norman of Jackson; one step-grandson, one step-granddaughter; one great niece; one great nephew. She was preceded in death by one sister.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. today, July 22, 1999 at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, at the funeral chapel with Rev. Tom Gross officiating. Burial will be in Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery, west of Gordonville.

The family desires memorials to be made to Zion United Methodist Church, 3658 St. Hwy. Z, Gordonville, Mo. 63701 or Southeast Hospice, 760 S. Kingshighway, Cape Girardeau, Mo. 63701.
