KARNAK, Ill. -- Funeral for Lesley R. Collins of Calvert City, Ky., will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak. The Revs. Joey Dunning and Shawn Wasson will officiate. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery at Belknap, with military rites by Vienna VFW Post 5222.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. today. Masonic service will be at 7.

Collins, 61, died Wednesday, June 23, 1999, at Marshall County Hospital in Benton, Ky.

He is the son of Adam Howard and Ethel Bond Collins. He married the former Dawne Basham.

Collins was a retired construction worker. He was a member of Belknap Masonic Lodge 822 AF&AM, American Legion Post 188 in Inglewood, Calif., and the Inglewood Carpenters Union.

He served eight years in the U.S. Army and four years in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Paula Fivecoat and Gina Tomich of Oswego, Dina Messenger of Montgomery, Andrea Story of Paducah, Ky.; mother and stepfather, Ethel and Verner Hicks of Karnak.

Also surviving are two stepdaughters, Kassandra and Delana Greer of Karnak; a sister, Sharon Wilson of Karnak; a brother, Gary Collins of Waynesville, Mo.; his stepmother, Mary Collins of Waynesville; two stepsisters, Barbara Hutton of Waynesville, Sara Greenstreet of Cuba, Mo.; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and a daughter.
