PERRYVILLE -- Nelson H. Hoffman, 91, of Perryville died Friday, May 7, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 29, 1907, in Perry County, son of Amsirah and Luella Eddleman Hoffman. He and Lela Sutterer were married Nov. 15, 1933, in Perryville.

Hoffman had farmed and worked at International Shoe Co. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and Holy Name Society.

Survivors include his wife; two sisters, Leoda Buchheit of Perryville and Anita Ryan of Cincinnati, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Sunday, and Monday from 6:30-9:50 a.m. The parish wake will be at 7 p.m. Sunday. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Monday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Richard Lause will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
