MARBLE HILL -- Funeral for Wynton "Pete" Isom of Marble Hill will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. David Isom, a son, and Charles Bollinger will officiate. Burial will be in El Nathan Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Sunday.

Isom, 71, died Thursday, May 6, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Dec. 17, 1927, at Lockesburg, Ark., son of William and Lillian E. Williams Isom. He and Betty R. Pattie were married Dec. 16, 1950. She died July 4, 1983.

Isom was a member and elder at Bible Chapel.

Survivors include two sons, Daniel Isom of Marble Hill, David Isom of Ironton; four daughters, Deborah Beussink of Anna, Ill., Karen Johnson of Marble Hill, Crystal Irvin of Clinton, Utah, Rebecca Kimbrough of Zalma; two brothers, Cleo Ramsey of Alba, Texas, Hoyle Ramsey of Garland, Texas; and 12 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.
