ANNA, Ill. -- Norman Owen Snell, 64, of Anna died Friday, May 7, 1999, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Marion.

He was born May 26, 1934, in Union County in Illinois, son of Owen and Inez Dale Snell.

He was a construction engineer and a veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his mother of Anna; a son, Ronald A. Snell of Lake Forest, Calif.; a daughter, Teresa A. Snell of Rancho Santa Magarite, Calif.; two sisters, Monica West of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Ruby Brimm of Anna; and two grandchildren.

Service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna. Burial, with full military honors by the Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455, will be in Anna Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday.
