GLEN ALLEN -- Ruth M. Tilley, 81, of Glen Allen died Monday, May 10, 1999, at the home of a son.
She was born July 23, 1917, in Atkins, Ark., daughter of Anthony and Martha E. Branscum Brown. She and Morlie Tilley were married Nov. 17, 1934.
Tilley attended McGee Chapel Church, and was a past member of Rebekah Lodge 18 in Blytheville, Ark.
Survivors include her husband of Blytheville; four sons, Jimmie Tilley of Glen Allen, Everett Tilley of Perryville, Windell Tilley of Marked Tree, Ark., Loyle Tilley of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; two brothers, Marvin Brown of Valley Park, Elton Brown of Hillsboro; three sisters, Jewel Nisewonger of Piggott, Ark., Imogene Cole of Blytheville, Wanda Bracklin of Cooter; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a grandson, a sister, and three brothers.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Clinton Massa will officiate. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. at Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart.
