BENTON -- Kimberly S. Schweer, 41, of Benton died Saturday, May 1, 1999, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born April 5, 1958, at Sikeston, daughter of JoAnn Matz Schweer.

Schweer was employed by Missouri Division of Family Services nine years. She formerly worked at Judevine Autism Center in Cape Girardeau.

She received the Otto Rehabilitation Recognition Award from St. Francis Medical Center in 1996.

Survivors include a brother, Jim Schweer of St. Louis; a sister, Teresa Koch of Jackson; and a friend, Beverly Holland of Benton.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. The Rev. Sam Rothemeyer will officiate.

Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 1-2 p.m.
