SCOTT CITY -- Lois Eva Ruder, 84, of Scott City died Thursday, May 27, 1999, at Heartland Care Rehab Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born July 20, 1914, at Ancell, daughter of Otto and Emma DePew Summers. She and Edwin George Ruder were married Nov. 30, 1934. He died Oct. 23, 1971...

SCOTT CITY -- Lois Eva Ruder, 84, of Scott City died Thursday, May 27, 1999, at Heartland Care Rehab Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 20, 1914, at Ancell, daughter of Otto and Emma DePew Summers. She and Edwin George Ruder were married Nov. 30, 1934. He died Oct. 23, 1971.

Survivors include two brothers, Ray Summers of Fort Worth, Texas, Coy Summers of Azle, Texas; two sisters, Catherine Santivasci of Fort Worth and Ladon Karraker of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

There is no visitation.

Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Lucas Cemetery in St. Louis.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
