Elizabeth L. Steimle, 90, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Sept. 23, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 22, 1908, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Frank and Sophia Schaefer Steimle.

Steimle was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral, its St. Ann's Sodality and Legion of Mary.

Survivors include five nieces, Mary Helen Brunton, Mary Loos and Dorothy Ressel of Cape Girardeau, Ann Hinton of Jackson, and Janice Steimle-Sprenger of Montgomery, Ala.

She was preceded in death by five brothers.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Sunday. Parish prayers will be at 7.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Church, with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
