BUD MURRAY

Funeral Mass for Marvin L. "Bud" Murray of Cape Girardeau will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Milton Ryan will officiate. Entombment will be in Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. Sunday. Parish prayers will be at 7.

Murray, 61, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 1999, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born Feb. 27, 1938, in Brandon, Miss., son of Louis Washington and Sadie Dale Burnham Murray. He and Betty Hay were married May 17, 1958, in Monroe, La.

Murray was maintenance supervisor at Lonestar 41 years. He moved to Cape Girardeau 17 years ago from Brandon. He was a member of St. Vincent's Church.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Michael Murray of Bedford, Texas, Gregory Murray of Owasso, Okla., David Murray of Sikeston; a brother, Grady Murray of Jackson, Miss.; two sisters, Barbara Horton of Jackson, Miss., Christine McDaniel of Brandon; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and a sister.
