IRA ROSELLA MCWHIRTER

ORAN -- Ira Rosella McWhirter, 50, of Oran died Thursday, Oct. 28, 1999, at her residence.

She was born May 13, 1949, in Doniphan, the daughter of Thomas Elcany and Carrie Bell Collins Wilder. She married Autrey Reynolds, who preceded her in death on Oct. 14, 1976.

She was a housewife.

She is survived by two sons, Thomas Reynolds of Oran and Robert Graham Jr. of Blodgett; two daughters, Audra Reynolds of Oran and Sarah Powell of Blodgett; three stepdaughters, Kathy Forrest and Sue Hammon, both of Sikeston, and Rita Vaughn of Blodgett; two brothers, Calloway Wilder of Doniphan and Lonnie Wilder of Collinsville, Okla.; two sisters, Pearl Rush of Doniphan and Faye Wallace of Tulsa, Okla.; and 13 grandchildren. She also is survived by her fianc, James Pirtle of Oran.

She was preceded in death by a son, a stepdaughter, two brothers and two sisters.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Dogwood Cemetery with the Rev. Gerald Penn, pastor of the First Assembly of God Church in Charleston, officiating.

Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
