DELTA -- Verlan "Bud" Hendrickson, 72, of Delta died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. DELTA -- Verlan "Bud" Hendrickson, 72, of Delta died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Sept. 29, 1927, in Randles, son of Oscar Earl and Ruby Ann Johnson Hendrickson.

He was a retired fence installer for Kennedy Fence Co. in St. Louis. He moved to Delta within the last year.

Survivors include three sons, Gary Hendrickson of St. Petersburg, Fla., Buddy Hendrickson and Tim Hendrickson, both of St. Louis; three daughters, Marie Persons of Montrose, Mich., Judy Coester of St. Petersburg and Kim Price of St. Louis; a stepson, Gary Evans of St. Louis; a stepdaughter, Jeannie Stone of St. Louis; two brothers, Obie Hendrickson of Delta and Joey Hendrickson of Randles; a sister, Bertha Brumbaugh of St. Louis; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Two sons preceded him in death.

Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel, with visitation at 1 p.m. Sunday until time of funeral.
