ANNA, Ill. -- Alma K. Fears, 91, of O'Fallon died Thursday, Dec. 2, 1999, at O'Fallon Health Care Center. She was born Feb. 9, 1908, in Anna, daughter of Walter and Ruth Coleman Hartline. She and James C. Fears were married May 10, 1947, in Cobden. He died July 26, 1992...

ANNA, Ill. -- Alma K. Fears, 91, of O'Fallon died Thursday, Dec. 2, 1999, at O'Fallon Health Care Center.

She was born Feb. 9, 1908, in Anna, daughter of Walter and Ruth Coleman Hartline. She and James C. Fears were married May 10, 1947, in Cobden. He died July 26, 1992.

Fears was a member of Walnut Grove Methodist Church near Jonesboro.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy Young of St. Charles, Mo.; three sons, Lonnie Fears of Collinsville, Bill Lasley of Yucca Valley, Calif., Arlen Lasley of Rapid City, S.D.; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 5-8 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Pinkney Love officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
