DEXTER -- Ronald G. Adams, 71, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 1999, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

He was born May 13, 1928, in St. Louis, son of the late Virgil and Julia Catherine McKee Adams. He had lived in Dexter since 1972 and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Dexter.

On July 6, 1951, he married Sarah Louise Ginter in St. Louis.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dennis Adams of Cahokia, Ill., and Robert Adams of Arnold; a daughter, Janet Carillo of Bridgeton; a brother, Wayne Adams of Union Bridge, Md.; and eight grandchildren.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from noon to 1 when a graveside service begins at Dexter Cemetery. The Rev. Bob Wiggins will officiate. Interment will follow.
