ANNA, Ill. -- Mildred Sitter, 81, of Anna died Tuesday, Aug. 4, 1998, at Union County Hospital.
She was born June 29, 1917, in Anna, daughter of Joseph and Lou Alice Davis Sitter.
Sitter was an elementary teacher and retired from St. Charles Schools, where she taught 15 years. She attended Anna Church of Christ.

Survivors include cousins.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with John Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
