Benny Lee Wise, 56, of Deer Lodge, Mont., died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 1998, in Deer Lodge. He was born Aug. 24, 1941, in Cape Girardeau, son of Lee Bell and Cora Alice Johnson Wise. He and Julia A. Benny Lee Wise, 56, of Deer Lodge, Mont., died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 1998, in Deer Lodge.

He was born Aug. 24, 1941, in Cape Girardeau, son of Lee Bell and Cora Alice Johnson Wise. He and Julia A. Stokes were married Sept. 5, 1970, in Cape Girardeau.

Wise formerly worked on the railroad. He was supervisor of Watco Inc., Montana Division.

He was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church in Helena, Mont., was involved with Boy Scouts of America in Kennewick, Wash., and served in the Missouri Army National Guard.

Survivors include a son, Christopher Wise of Cape Girardeau; and his mother of Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 5-9 p.m. Friday.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with Dr. Clayton Smith officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
