DEXTER -- A. Bradley Daniel, 74, of Dexter died Friday, Jan. 16, 1998, at the Dexter Memorial Hospital.

He was born on April 17, 1923, near McCrory, Ark., son of Perry Delmar and Bessie Lee Hendricks Daniel.

He married Maxine Stuart on Oct. 25, 1945, at Dexter.

He was a resident of Dexter most of his life. He was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Dexter, where he served as a deacon.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, serving in the European and African campaigns during World War II.

He worked at the post office in Dexter for 33 years and was superintendent of postal operations when he retired in 1981.

He was a member of the American Legion and the National Association of Letter Carriers.

Survivors include his wife of Dexter; a son, Jon Stuart Daniel of Fredericktown; two brothers, Dallas Daniel of Dexter and Perry Daniel of Conway, Ark.; three sisters, Lucille Biggerstaff of St. Louis, and Inez Holder and Pat Watkins, both of Dexter; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel. The Rev. Vaughn Wright will officiate.

Burial will be in the Dexter Cemetery.
