PERRYVILLE -- Norman A. Noennig, 74, formerly of Altenburg, died Friday, Jan. 30, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born June 13, 1923, at Altenburg, son of Arthur and Amanda Kaufmann Noennig.

He married Vera Steffens on June 10, 1950. She survives at Black Jack, Mo.

He was a veteran of the Marine Corps and a member of the Riverview American Legion.

Survivors include a son, Kevin Noennig of Perryville, and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, two brothers and a sister.

Service will be held today at 2 p.m. at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel, with the Rev. Al Strand officiating. Burial will at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Altenburg.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. today until time of service.
