LEE ALLEN

JACKSON -- Graveside service for Lee Roy Allen of Jackson will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Russell Heights Cemetery. The Rev. Philip Curran will officiate.

There is no visitation.

Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Allen, 79, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1998, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 18, 1918, at Jackson, son of William and Alta Hall Allen.

Allen was a carpenter in the area all his life, and was a member of Altenthal-Joerns American Legion Post 158. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include a brother, Joe Allen of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Hattie Slinkard of Whitewater and Mary Niswonger of Jackson.

He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
