SCOTT CITY -- Lauretta Lee Schenimann, 76, of Scott City died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in St. Louis. She was born Aug. 26, 1921, at Kennett, daughter of Ed and Ella Perkins Dailey. She and Leslie Gordon Schenimann were married Aug. 2, 1944, at Kennett. He died Dec. 24, 1965...

SCOTT CITY -- Lauretta Lee Schenimann, 76, of Scott City died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in St. Louis.

She was born Aug. 26, 1921, at Kennett, daughter of Ed and Ella Perkins Dailey. She and Leslie Gordon Schenimann were married Aug. 2, 1944, at Kennett. He died Dec. 24, 1965.

Schenimann was an agent with National Car Rental. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Scott City and Order of Eastern Star in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include a son, Doug Schenimann of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Renae Dodson of Cape Girardeau; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons and two brothers.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City after 4 p.m. today, and Friday at First Baptist Church from 12:30 p.m. until service time.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the church, with the Rev. Terry Eades officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
