JACKSON -- Robert Bland Eaton, 81, of Jackson died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 1998, at Jackson Manor.

He was born Feb. 7, 1917, in Stoddard County, son of Ethon Elvis and Inatha C. Scism Eaton. He and Roxie Fulbright were married April 12, 1952, at Dexter. She preceded him in death.

Eaton had been a carpenter with Ziegenhorn Construction in Sikeston. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include a sister, Imogene Hastings of Cape Girardeau.

He was preceded in death by two sisters.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Friday.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Revs. Kelly Grubbs and Richard Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Bernie City Cemetery at Bernie.
