CLINTON, Ill. -- Martha "Cleta" Hastings, 87, of Clinton, formerly of Moark, Ark., died Saturday, Feb. 28, 1998, at John Warner Hospital in Clinton.
She was born April 13, 1913, at Supply, Ark., daughter of General Price and Zadie Wallace Johnson.
She was baptized in the United Pentecostal Church by the Rev. C.P. Kilgore in 1929.
She married Elmer W. Hastings on Nov. 5, 1932, at Corning, Ark. He died on April 4, 1990.
Survivors include a son, Bob G. Hastings of Rockton, a daughter, Elmeta Sue Carson of Clinton; a sister, Bessie Hagerman of Corning; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, four brothers and a sister.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Monday until time of service at the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Heyworth, with the funeral at 7.
Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Anna Cemetery.
Brintlinger Funeral Home in Decatur is in charge of arrangements.
