BOB BAILEY

DUCK CREEK -- Bob R. Bailey, 57, of Duck Creek died Tuesday, March 3, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Feb. 13, 1941, at Sturdivant, son of Clarence and Ivy Schrout Bailey.

Bailey was owner and operator of a sawmill. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include three sons, Keith Bailey of Duck Creek, Kent Bailey of Sturdivant, Kenny Bailey of Advance; two brothers, Junior Bailey of Marble Falls, Texas, Paul Bailey of Doniphan; six sisters, Evelyn Wheetley of Advance, Patsy Robert of Cape Girardeau, Helen Fisher of Marble Falls, Thelma Burns of Puxico, Mary Fitzpatrick of St. Louis, Betty Bailey of Sturdivant; a friend, Rita Gosnell of Duck Creek; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 4:30-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Throgmorton officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
