SCOTT CITY -- Lloyd Franklin Dunn, 76, of Scott City died Friday, March 6, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 4, 1921, at Thebes, Ill., son of Clyde Franklin and Ida Mae Mosher Dunn.
He married Geraldine Gottlob on Oct. 6, 1943, at Cape Girardeau. She survives.
He had been a truck driver for E.C. Robinson Lumber and a forklift operator for Associated Building Center.
He had lived in Scott City for more than 50 years and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Scott City.
Survivors include a son, Terry Dunn of Manchester; three daughters, Judy Fernandez of Scott City, Carol Bollinger of Ashburn, Va., and Cheryl Mooney of Fredericktown; three brothers, Luther Dunn of St. Louis, Clyde V. Dunn of McClure, Ill., and Bob Dunn of Thebes; three sisters, Sylvia Caldwell of Thebes, Venus Pettit of Scott City and Edna Keesee of Cape Girardeau; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.
Visitation will be today after 5 p.m. at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Assembly of God Church in Scott City, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be at Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
