PERRYVILLE -- Ellen S. Broker, 91, formerly of Perryville, died Sunday, March 8, 1998, at Parkland Hospital in Farmington. She was born Dec. 5, 1906, in Bollinger County, daughter of Marion Francis and Nancy Ann Bollinger Upchurch. She and Ed Broker were married March 8, 1927. He died June 2, 1980...

PERRYVILLE -- Ellen S. Broker, 91, formerly of Perryville, died Sunday, March 8, 1998, at Parkland Hospital in Farmington.

She was born Dec. 5, 1906, in Bollinger County, daughter of Marion Francis and Nancy Ann Bollinger Upchurch. She and Ed Broker were married March 8, 1927. He died June 2, 1980.

Broker retired as a counter stitcher from a shoe factory.

Survivors include a daughter, Virginia Head of Farmington; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today, and Wednesday after 6:30 a.m.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wedneday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Craig Otto officiating. Burial will be in Yount Cemetery.
