PORTAGEVILLE -- Funeral for Mary Lou Campbell of Portageville was held Monday at DeLisle Funeral Home, with Hershel Godair officiating. Burial was in Portageville Cemetery. Campbell, 70, died Friday, March 6, 1998, at her home. She was born April 30, 1927, in Russellville, Ark., daughter of Robert and Lena Stout. She and William Allen Campbell were married April 5, 1941, in Osceola, Ark. He died April 27, 1995...

PORTAGEVILLE -- Funeral for Mary Lou Campbell of Portageville was held Monday at DeLisle Funeral Home, with Hershel Godair officiating. Burial was in Portageville Cemetery.

Campbell, 70, died Friday, March 6, 1998, at her home.

She was born April 30, 1927, in Russellville, Ark., daughter of Robert and Lena Stout. She and William Allen Campbell were married April 5, 1941, in Osceola, Ark. He died April 27, 1995.

Survivors include seven sons, Carl and Billy Campbell of Rockford, Ill., Ronnie Campbell of Truman, Ark., Robert Campbell of New Madrid, Walter Campbell of Pacific, Tommy Campbell of Cape Girardeau, Sammy Campbell of Scott City; six daughters, Doris Morie of Chaffee, Maxine Lee of Friendship, Wis., Imogean Cato of Blytheville, Ark., Diane Miller and Carla Farmer of Portageville, and Kay Brandenburg of Armorel, Ark.

Also survivng are two brothers, J.W. Stout of Blytheville, Johnny Stout of Arizona; a sister, Loretta Rudd of California; 45 grandchildren; and 41 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter, a granddaughter, three brothers, and two sisters.
