JONESBORO, Ill. -- Funeral for William Robert McCain of Jonesboro will be held at 1 p.m. today at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until service time.

McCain, 41, died Tuesday, March 10, 1998, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

He was born Oct. 24, 1956, at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., son of Billy and Evelyn Rice McCain. He and Helen Risley Scroggins were married Oct. 28, 1994, in Paducah, Ky.

McCain was employed at Choate Mental Health Center in Anna.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Christopher of Barnsville, Ga.; a stepson, Bill Scroggins of Evansville, Ind.; a stepdaughter, Lou Bolford of Ridgeway, Ill.; his father of LaGrange, Ga.; his mother, Evelyn Greer of Garland, Texas; a brother, Steven McCain of Tomball, Texas; two sisters, Carole Calhoun of LaGrange, Rebecca McCain of Dallas, Texas; three stepgrandchildren; and three great-stepgrandchildren.
