BOBBIE L. BATSON
COBDEN, Ill. -- Bobbie L. "Link" Batson, 68, of Cahokia and formerly of Union County, died Monday, March 16, 1998, at St. Mary's Hospital in East St. Louis. He was born Jan. 5, 1930, at Cobden, son of Glenn and Isabell Fears Batson. He was married to Norma Plott on Jan. 18, 1957, at Cahokia. She survives...COBDEN, Ill. -- Bobbie L. He was born Jan. 5, 1930, at Cobden, son of Glenn and Isabell Fears Batson.
He was married to Norma Plott on Jan. 18, 1957, at Cahokia. She survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Mike Batson of Cobden, Jeff Batson of Nashville, Tenn., and James Batson of Cahokia; a brother, Pat Batson of Waterloo; and a granddaughter.

He was retired from Monsanto W.G. Krummrich Plant in Sauget and was a member of the East Lodge 504 AF and AM at Fairview Heights and the Low 12 Club of the Masons.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna, with the Rev. Clifton Lingle officiating.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Big Creek Cemetery south of Anna.
