TAMMS, Ill. -- Donnie I, Tupper, 61, of Thebes died Monday, March 16, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Oct. 11, 1936, at Thebes, son of Chelsey and Virginia Tupper.

Tupper worked for a riverboat and was a fisherman a number of years.

Survivors include his parents; a brother, Chancy Tupper of Willmington; and, five sisters, Betty Williams of Bloomsdale, Mo., Minnie Mormino of East Alton, Emma Pedranti of Fremont, Calif., Vickie Johnson of Roxanna and Rhonda Jackson of Olive Branch.

Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Jones Funeral Home at Tamms, with the Rev. Carl D. Fisher officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Thebes.

Friends may call between 5 and 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
