WILLIE EVY BAKER

SIKESTON -- Willie Evy Baker, 99, of Sikeston died Saturday, March 14, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Sept. 15, 1898, in Little Rock, Ark. She was married to Dan Baker, who preceded her in death.

She had lived in Vanduser and Sikeston for many years and was a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Bell City.

She is survived by four grandchildren whom she raised, Steven, Terry and Teresa Baker and Gloria Williams, all of Sikeston; and by a host of other grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two sons and a daughter.

Friends may call between 7 and 8 p.m. Thursday at Williams-Farr and Parnell Funeral Home.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Prince of Peace Baptist Church. The Rev. Ricky Anderson will officiate, with burial in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
