PERRYVILLE -- Lester J. Cissell, 86, of Perryville died Thursday, March 19, 1998, at Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born Dec. 28, 1911, at Perryville, son of George Joseph and Rose Huber Cissell. He married Wilma M. Voelker, who died in August 1977.

Cissell had worked at International Shoe Co. He was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include a son, Allen Cissell of Springfield, Va.; two brothers, Leslie Cissell of Perryville, Virgil Cissell of St. Louis; a sister, Bernice Danz of Perryville; and a grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a son and a granddaughter.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Sunday, and Monday from 6:30-9:50 a.m. The parish wake will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, and the rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Monday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
